Medical Transcription

Two More Hands Transcription Services utilizes a computer-based phone system that is easy to use for all your medical dictation needs.  At initial sign-up, you are given the main system call-in phone number and an individualized identification number that is unique to each client.  The caller phones the system, enters the assigned I.D. number, and is prompted to chose the function they want to perform.  The dictation system is easy to understand and simple to use.  Once the medical dictation is completed, the caller can press one button on the phone or simply hang up.  The dictation is automatically saved into our computer system where it remains until the lead transcriptionist assigned to your account transcribes it and signs off on the document, which means the document has been completed.  Even if there is a power outage, we have a system in place to maintain power to the computer so that it can be safely and securely shut down, dictations intact, until power is restored.

You will never get a busy signal.  You can dictate whenever you want and from wherever you prefer.  Our system runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so that you have peace of mind knowing you can get your work done at a time that’s convenient for you.

After your medical dictation is saved in our system, your lead transcription specialist retrieves your dictation, transcribes it, and emails it back via secure, encrypted email (following HIPAA rules and regulations).  We recognize that confidentiality and security are of the utmost importance when dealing with patients’ personal information.  You can be assured that our staff adheres to these values and have signed confidentiality agreements with Two More Hands Transcription Services.

Our transcription staff works Monday through Friday, and turnaround time is within 24 hours or less.  If other arrangements need to be made, we will be happy to work with you to accommodate your specific requirements.
